We are currently seeking an ambitious Business Data Analyst to join our Galway-based Services Team.

As a Business Data Analyst, you will work across a range of clients in different industries analysing complex data and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with stakeholders to obtain and interpret information
• Analyse and interpret trends or patterns in spend data
• Collate, cleanse, normalise and analyse multiple complex datasets resolving data anomalies in the process
• Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders with recommendations based on findings of your analysis
• Prepare and manage electronic Requests for Information/Quotation/Proposals on behalf of clients
• Develop cost saving models

Requirements

• Must hold an honours Degree and preferably be educated to Masters level
• 1+ years relevant work experience
• Proficient in MS Word, Access, and PowerPoint
• Intermediate/advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of SQL, Database skills
• Experience creating dashboards, charts, graphs and reports
• Good organisational, analytical and attention to detail skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff
• Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
• Good team-working skills
